With the proven quality and durability of our standard slats plus unique “wings” for extra screening and security, these slats are self-locking–no channels are needed!
HIGH DURABILITY

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Insert vertical slats with angle cut end downward. Winged portion interlocks with chain link knuckles.
Note:
These are friction-fitting Fence Slats. Additional time should be allowed for installation.
IMPORTANT:
For fence heights higher than 8 feet, we strongly advise NOT to double-stack Winged Slats®. If you double-stack, you will be at risk of the Winged Slats® not all giving the same visual appearance or giving the same privacy effect on the top and bottom portions of the Fence.
Specifications
Design: Our innovative Winged Slat has a rigid, flat tubular body, with “legs” inside for extra support and durability. Flexible and resilient wing portions are positioned on each side of the slat body. Serrations are added to the wings for easier installation and locking power.
Standard Heights: 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 feet.
Slat Length: 2” shorter than the overall height of the fence.
Wind Load & Privacy Factor: Approximately 90%. (Based on wire/mesh
used – stretch tension).
HDPE Technical Properties
Melt Index:
(.35) Optimum extrusion processing conditions for Fence Slats.
Density
(.945) Polyethylene ranges anywhere from .914 to .960 in density.
Minimum Temp.
(-70°) Under no stress, HDPE remains flexible at this temperature.
Maximum Temp.
(180°) Under no stress, HDPE will not distort at this temperature.
Tensile Strength
(4,000 psi) HDPE will not distort at lesser loads or impacts.
